In the wake of the number of injuries to key players in the squad, Jurgen Klopp is on a role brining back players who are in various places on loan from the club.
The club has so far recalled the likes of Kent, Ojo and Sinclair and it is now understood that Jurgen Klopp has cut short the loan spell of shot stopper Danny Ward from Aberdeen.
Danny Ward moved to the Scottish league last summer on a year-long deal but the injury crisis at Anfield sees him cut short his loan by 6 months and move to Liverpool in January.
The 22-year old has become a fan favorite at the Pittodire and has kept the most clean sheets in the domestic league. He also has a song for himself at Aberdeen and looks to be a good addition to the Liverpool squad.
Liverpool have a serious problem at the back with both the club keepers prone to mistakes at the back. Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan have already cost the team some points and Ward will be a huge boost for the Merseyside club.
Ward’s move to Liverpool will be a big loss for the Pittodire side as the Welshman has played 29 games so far this season and has kept 11 clean sheets in total.
The Wales under-21 goalkeeper, who has been on the bench for his country’s full international side, joined the Reds from Wrexham, his hometown club, in January 2012. He was a member of the squad for the preseason tour to North America that summer.
It will be interesting to see how Klopp handles the young players who are now training at Melwood when his starting XI if fit and ready to fire. However, at the moment, all these additions will be a huge boost for the depleting squad.
