Liverpool owner John Henry has cast doubts over the expansion of Anfield as the fans are protesting over the increase of ticket prices.
The Reds have recently expanded the main stand in Anfield which has increased the capacity of the iconic ground to 54,000 as the club looks to close in on rivals to increase ticket revenue.
“I don’t know if there is a next step because ticket prices are an issue in England,” Henry told reporters. “That may foreclose further expansion. We’ll have to see.”
