Former Liverpool midfielder Suso has revealed the Reds have managed to beat European giants Real Madrid in signing him in 2010.
However, he has failed to shine at Anfield under former manager Brendan Rodgers and have eventually left to Milan last summer. The youngster have rebuilt his career at Milan as he is one of the exciting talents in Serie A.
“I had it practically done with Madrid when Liverpool came in,” he told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
“And I wanted to go to the Premier League.”
