Liverpool has officially announced the signing of their new prospect- Steven Caulker. The defender joins the Merseyside club on a loan deal from QPR until the end of the season. The highlight of the transfer is that the necessary paper-works concerning Caulker’s move to Anfield has been completed in time for him to feature in the game against Arsenal tomorrow night. Caulker’s addition to the team will relieve Klopp from the injury crisis the club is going through.
Caulker, who won one England cap in 2012, has seen his career stall after moving on loan to St Mary’s Stadium after previously playing for Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City. He also had loan spells at Yeovil Town, Bristol City and Swansea City during his time at White Hart Lane.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the announcement of his deal.
