Nothing seems to be going right for the Liverpool star Mario Balotelli as the striker has been banned from driving for 28 days after being caught speeding his Ferrari at an insane speed of 109mph.

Balotelli asked his lawyer to issue an apology and was subsequently fined £800 and additional £180 court costs.

This follows after the star was supposed to attend a court hearing for his speeding case from December but the striker did not appear for it later on his lawyer claimed that the striker did not receive the summon to be present for hearing.

Striker’s representative Mr. Hogan said: “It wasn’t a case of him simply ignoring an important document sent by the court,”

“Had he received the summons in the first place he would have pleaded guilty on his first appearance.

“Mr Balotelli has asked me to apologize.

“The police officers pulled him over just after midnight. He may have been in a rush to get home and very quickly the speed crept up.

“There’s no suggestion that he makes a habit of doing this.”
