Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are one of the inform teams in the Premier League and are currently in the middle of a 10-match unbeaten run in all competition early this season.

They were victorious in the recent League Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur, even after making 11 changes which show the amount of depth in the squad that the manager has gone ahead in the season.

However, one player who has not been a part of the even the second team at the club is Mamadou Sakho.

The former PSG skipper was in decent form last season up until he was hit with a drug abuse charge buy WADA that saw him miss out on the Europa League final last season against Sevilla.

He was subsequently dropped out of the France national squad for the EUROs and was only relieved of the charge during the summer transfer window.

However, Sakho could not keep himself fit and missed the pre-season games in the US ahead of this campaign. But his antics in the US saw Jurgen Klopp summon him back home to try and rehabilitate and pushed him out of the squad.

Though it looked like a small punishment, Klopp has stayed strong on his word and has not used the defender in any game this season so far. Though the manager has revealed that Sakho’s fitness is a problem at the moment, the French defender’s Snapchat rant that saw him accuse the club of keeping the truth away from the supported has now completely thrown him out of favor at Anfield.

Klopp wanted Sakho to leave the club on loan in the summer but the 26-year old rejected any move away from the club and was ready to fight for his place in the side.

However, recent reports have suggested that he will be up for sale in January and that Sakho has finally accepted that his time at the club has come to an end.

At his age, Sakho will need all the game time he can get under his belt and that has seen him linked with a move back to France with Lille interested in his signature.

He is currently completely frozen out of the senior squad but Sakho is reportedly not ready to make a move to a side that sits 16^th in the points table in the top tier of French football.

Marseille is also reportedly interested in his signature but it is understood that Sakho is ready to turn down any offer from Lille in January.

The Frenchman hardly has any future at Anfield now and it is best for him to look for a club that suits the bill. So it might just be a matter of time before he finds a club that suits him and leaves Anfield.
