Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is looking to leave Anfield this summer after insisting that he will not sign a new deal. The 24-year old is bought from Roma three years ago for a reported fee of £10.5 million.

The player failed to break in to first team as he often played from the bench playing as a late substitute. The Italian international had been under speculation even during the last summer but has remained at Liverpool to fight for first team place as Luis Suarez moved to Barcelona.

The Italian has scored only 1 goal for the Reds this season in the 18 appearences he made for the Mersey side and was also handed a red card in one of the matches. The player still has two years left in his contract but his agent insistes that Borini would move this summer.

Borini’s agent Marco De Marchi said: “We are analysing all offers to decide what is best for his future. He is unhappy because he has not played many minutes and that’s not good for his career.

“At this moment we are not thinking about a new deal, because it would be negative for our objectives.”

The striker has drawn interest from various clubs in Italy and also from fellow Premier League club Sunderland.
