Liverpool’s search for a decent defensive midfielder saw them linked with a move for Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski. It was reported that Liverpool were rejected in their bid for the player earlier in the transfer window.

And it is now understood that the Reds are set to miss out on their target and that Zielinski is now heading to Napoli in the coming years.
