Young defender sold:
Having joined the Liverpool academy as a 9-year old, Joe Maguire made his senior appearance in the FA Cup last season but he has not been able to impress the manager to stay at the club.
He has now completed a permanent transfer to League One side Fleetwood Town earlier today. Having penned a two-and-a-half year contract, Maguire wrote on Twitter: “After 12 unforgettable years at Liverpool, I’d like to say thank you to the staff, fans and players, You’ll Never Walk Alone! (Squawka)
