Left-back boost:
The Reds are desperate to add a left-back to the squad to make them stronger and they have been linked with Germany’s Jonas Hector for some time now.
The German is happy at Koln at the moment but was linked with a move to Juventus. Liverpool looked like they lost this battle but the Bundesliga club’s sporting director Christian Heidel revealed the Bosnian left-back will not be joining the Italian side this window.
