Liverpool and United to battle for starlet:
The Reds are always looking for young and raw talent that can help them in the long term and they have been looking to add such youngsters to their squad since the start of the season.
They are now interested in the signature of 17-year old Ben Brereton from Nottingham Forest in January. The youngster is in sublime form and is wanted by many clubs in England and Manchester United and Liverpool are front runners for his signature. (Nottingham Post)
