Markovic loan terminated:
Serbian winger Lazar Markovic joined Liverpool a couple of seasons ago under Brendan Rodgers but he was unable to impress the Liverpool manager at the start of the current season.
He was sent out on loan to Sporting Lisbon in the summer where he was expected to feature regularly but lack of form and confidence have seen him fail in Portugal. The Portuguese outfit have left him out of the squad for the league game this weekend and have now decided to terminate his contract and are ready to send him back to Anfield this month. (Express)
