Liverpool Transfer Roundup: 2 Offers made; 2 New Links and One Huge Update

Liverpool suffered a loss in the League Cup as Claude Puel’s Southampton managed to grab an early lead in the two-legged tie earlier this week. However, the manager will know that his side has enough to bounce back in the second leg and will now only worry about the game at the Old Trafford on the weekend.

Though a match of that proportion is keeping the players busy, the club has been linked with a move for a number of star players this January.

Now that the window is open, the rumours are coming thick and fast. Here are all such transfer rumours coming out of Anfield today:

PSG pair up for sale:

The Reds have been looking at potential stars who can improve the quality in the squad and have been linked to the likes of Jese Rodriguez recently.

PSG are now open to selling the former Real Madrid man along with Grzegorz Krychowiak, also a target for Liverpool. The Anfield outfit are pondering over a move with PSG ready to let the duo on loan or leave on a permanent basis. (Sun)

Reds face battle for the star:

Liverpool does not have too many European stars that would be priced away by big clubs anytime soon.

But they are now on the ropes as inform midfielder Adam Lallana is attracting interest from Europe. The English midfielder is in fine form this season and PSG are ready to make a bid for him in the summer. Barcelona and Juventus are also keeping a close eye on him. (Times)

More clubs join Sakho race:

The French defender has no real future at Anfield and is waiting for the right option to make the move.

Galatasaray and Sevilla are a couple of new clubs who are interested in him along with Lille. Southampton are also keeping an eye while Spartak Moscow and Swansea City have now joined the race for his signature this month. He is up for sale and is sure to leave Anfield before February. (BBC)

Klopp holds secret talks:

Liverpool are interested in signing young talents who can make a difference in the future and with an attacker a requirement, they are eyeing a move for Brazil sensation Gabriel Barbosa.

Klopp is now desperate for his signature and has already spoken with the player about a potential move to Anfield on more than one occasion. Though Barbosa recently revealed that he is not ready to move, Klopp is looking to convince him and might push through a deal in the next couple of weeks. (Tutto Mercato)

Liverpool makes an offer for Monaco star:

The Reds are in search of a midfielder who can add some mettle to the side and are linked with a move for AS Monaco midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko.

Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested in his signature but Arsenal and Liverpool have now made official contact with the French outfit over his signature. Monaco are adamant that they are not ready to sell but the PL clubs are confident that they can lure him away. (Le 10 Sport)
