According to Goal, Newcastle have made an approach for Reds winger Lazar Markovic.
The winger does not appear to have a future at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp as the likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are his regular starters on the wings. He could drop down to the Championship to get some regular first-team football.
