The German midfielder was expected to be the next best thing at Anfield but he has failed to show any kind of a consistency this season under the new manager.
He is still potentially a top class player and is the target of a big money big from PSG in the summer. Emre Can is currently established at Anfield but he failed to sign a new contract that was offered to him at the start of the season and his future is now in jeopardy as Liverpool might be open to selling him.
