Harry Wilson joins Crewe Alexandra
Liverpool have confirmed Harry Wilson has joined Crewe Alexandra on a youth loan.
The 18-year-old has agreed a temporary switch to the League One club until January.
According to Liverpool’s official website, Wilson “has all the hallmarks of typical left winger – bags of pace, a great touch, ability and acceleration with the ball at his feet”.
Wilson, a regular for the Reds’ U21 side, is yet to make his senior bow for the club, but was included in the squad for the summer tour of Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.
The winger has already made his full debut for Wales on 15 October 2013 against Belgium when he became the youngest player to ever represent his country as a substitute against Belgium in October 2013.
The record was previously held by world’s most expensive player Gareth Bale.
Wilson will wear the No.24 jersey at Crewe and is available for their league match at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
He played for Liverpool under 21 for a total of 28 times and scored 8 goals with 8 assists also.
He is rated very highly by Liverpool hierarchy and his playing experience will help him for future.
