Bayern Munich President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had clarified last week that Muller will not be sold this summer at any cost. Irrespective of that former Bayern manager Louis van Gaal has again restored his interest in roping in the German attacker at any cost.
According to German newspaper Bild United have placed another bid for the striker/winger.
Thomas Muller is a versatile player who can play in almost any position in the attacking half. United are in need of forward who can release the burden of Wayne Rooney upfront. The talented German international will perfectly fit into the squad of United and bolster their squad this summer.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was recently quoted where he repeated his words that Muller will not be allowed to leave the club. He stressed on the fact that the club cherishes their star players and will accordingly increase his pay if the performance level rises.
He further said that Thomas Muller might stay at the club forever untill his retirement.
The President sounded confident of holding on to their player. It will be interesting battle to see between the two clubs as still a month is left in the summer transfer window.
