Manchester City are preparing a mega £33 million move for FC Porto’s Yacine Brahimi. Ironically, Brahimi has been tipped as a crucial transfer target for Manchester United in the summer as well.
Blue side of Manchester have been rocked by the news of Yaya Toure’s public outrage at the club where the Ivorian announced his exit plans before next season. Toure’s exit means City will need to bring-in a multi-faceted midfield player this summer and Brahimi is seen as the ideal signing.
Brahimi had a superb 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign with Algeria and he has continued his form this season with Porto where he has been the key man in taking Porto to the Champions League quarter finals.
The 25-year-old reportedly has a £33 million buy-out clause attached to his contract and according to L’Equipe, Manchester City are planning to meet Brahimi’s buy-out clause to sign the versatile playmaker ahead of Manchester United, PSG, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
Yacine Brahimi has scored 11 goals this season, out of which 5 have come in the Champions League. Brahimi is ready to make his move to the next level of European football and Manchester City are keen on bringing the Algeria play-maker to the Premier League.
