Manchester United had heaps of praise for Henrikh Mkhitaryan as the Armenian has found his way back into the team and have scored his first Man United goal against Zorya in the Europa League to ensure a 2-0 win for the Red Devils.
“He was strong mentally and very determined to fight against his difficult adaptation,” Mourinho told reporters after United’s victory.
“He is doing that in the best way — he worked really hard physically and tactically.
“We knew the talent was there and what we were buying, but we had to improve him tactically and physically.
“Now he is playing well in the Premier League and Europa League, and the goal means more happiness for him.”
