Former Manchester United skipper Phil Neville feels that the club could make two to three signings in January as Jose Mourinho is still rebuilding his squad. The Red Devils have been in mixed form this season as all their title rivals are going at an unbelievable form to pick points almost every week.
The pressure on Jose Mourinho has been mounting over the past few weeks and the manager is keen to deliver more wins in the coming weeks to steady their campaign.
He told the BBC: “I think it’s massive. I think you can tell by the way Jose is speaking that he still thinks there’s a lot more to come from this team.
“I still think they’re missing a central defender. I think in January there will be two or three players bought by the club.
“I think it’s a big, big rebuilding job. Having watched the games against Stoke, Burnley and against Arsenal at the weekend, United could have won all three of those games.
“So they’re not as far away as people are making out. They need to start winning games and go on a run.”
