According to the latest reports, Manchester City are lining up a sensational cash plus player swap deal for Liverpool contract rebel Raheem Sterling. The citizens are ready to offer Edin Dzeko as a part of the deal.
Raheem Sterling has been under heavy speculation after the player confirming that he would leave Anfield this summer. The 20-year old has drawn interest from fellow Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United besides Manchester City.
The Reds are reportedly ready to sell the player for an amount of £60 million. Manchester City wants to offer Edin Dzeko as a part of the deal to reduce the price of Raheem Sterling.
Liverpool are looking for quality strikers this summer with their last season signings Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert failing miserably throughout the season. The Reds will offload Balotelli, Lasmbert and Fabio Lambert and have expressed their interest in the services of Edin Dzeko earlier.
The deal would make Manchester City favorites to sign the player as they are looking to revamp their squad this summer. Raheem Sterling will provide the much needed pace and wing play in Manchester City’s attack next season if they sign him.
