Pep Guardiola has not even taken over at Manchester City and the club owners have already planned their next managerial appointment after the Bayern Munich boss.
According to reports from Sunday Express, City want Patrick Vieira as the next Manchester City manager after Guardiola’s 3-year contract. City owners are aware that Pep is not someone who will stay at the club for long and could walk away after his 3-year deal gets over.
Guardiola has done the same with Bayern Munich and there is no reason why he will no do that to City as well. That is why, Blue Manchester club are thinking ahead of time.
Vieira is currently in charge of the MLS side New YorkCity FC, a sister club to Manchester City. Despite the former Arsenal man not having enough experience, he has worked closely with City in the past leading theri B side.
It was understood that the Frenchman left Etihad to gain enough managerial experience before he is in the place to take over as City boss. Guardiola will remain at the club until 2019 and by then, City might have a squad which can dominate English and European football.
According to Metro, Guardiola is targetting a £150million raid at Barcelona for Neymar and Sergio Busquets.
