Manchester City are in talks with Wolfsburg over the transfer of their key player Kevin de Bruyne suggests the player’s agent. The player has moved away from Stamford Bridge due to lack of playtime.
The Belgian International have been a sensation in Bundesliga helping Wolfsburg claim second place after Bayern this season. The 23-year old have been the second most effective player in entire Bundesliga only next to Arjen Robben this season.
He has managed 10 goals and 19 assists with Wolfsburg in 32 Bundesliga appearences and have been the engine for their offense. The player have drawn interest from Bayern Munich and PSG. Manchester City are the latest to show their interest in the young prodigy.
The player’s agent Patrick de Koster recently confirmed that the transfer talks have begun and the player may very well move to a bigger club this summer.
‘I have a meeting with Klaus Allofs (Wolfsburg’s sporting director) next week to find out what they do,’ he said.
‘Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have made informal contact with me, but there have been no official offers.
‘If Wolfsburg decide to sell Kevin, then he will have a choice of clubs who can win their domestic league and challenge for the Champions League as well. The choice is his.’
