Leicester City have had a great year so far winning their first ever Premier League title against the big guns in the country.
They also managed to keep hold of star striker Jamie Vardy who has signed a contract extension with the club last month to stay and help the team to better things.
However, they have found it hard now to keep hold of the other stars in the team as it was revealed earlier this week that Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have swooped in from star midfielder N’ Golo Kante and have already completed the move.
And if that was not enough of a blow, it is now revealed that Pep Guardiola at Manchester City is looking to move for PFA player of the year of the previous season Riyad Mahrez.
The new manager at Manchester City has made Schalke’s Leroy Sane as his top priority this summer is valued at £42million and negotiations are said to be underway between the two clubs regarding a transfer.
Guardiola is said to be impressed by the German national who has been exceptional for the Bundesliga side last season. The manager is trying to get some top quality stars to the club and if he misses out on the German winger for a reason, he has already made a contingency plan.
And that plan involves raiding the Premier League champions for one of their star players. Claudio Ranieri, the title winnings manager is hopeful that the Algeria winger will follow the likes of Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan in signing a new deal with the club but interests from top class clubs may be too much for Mahrez to ignore.

He is currently also linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge where Antonio Conte wants him to play as a winger while Guardiola is also happy to give him a huge role in the squad next season.
He is also an outsider to join Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal but those rumours have now cooled down and it looks like City, Chelsea and Leicester City will have to fight it out for the winger this summer.
He has not proven himself over a long time in the Premier League and it perhaps is best for all the parties involved to give Mahrez another chance in the top flight and check if he has the mettle to walk into top class European sides or if he is a one-season wonder.
Surely, City will not be thinking twice about meeting his asking price but will Mahrez leave Leicester City this summer? Should he stay with the Premier League champions for another season?
