Manchester City have been eying a marquee Englishman signing for last few weeks. Initially, Raheem Sterling looked like the odds on favorite to join Etihad stadium but Liverpool’s continuous refusal have turned City towards Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.
Man City have been encouraged in signing Wilshere given how torn his future looks at Arsenal. Wilshere has been left frustrated with his roles at Arsenal despite shining for his national side on a regular basis.
Seeing that, Arsenal are willing offer the midfielder a new and improved contract at Emirates. According to Mirror, Arsenal are considering to offer Wilshere a double-your-money contract offer in order to persuade him to stay at Emirates.
Wilshere could earn as much as £100,000-a-week if he commits his future with Arsenal. Manchester City are willing to go as far as £40million as the transfer fee for the Arsenal star.
Despite having the immense talent, Wilshere has been a hard man to manager for Arsene Wenger. The Player has been constantly caught in the off-field controversies, be it his night-pub pictures or the player holding a cigarette and a SHEESHA pipe on different occasions.
