Manchester Giants Gearing Up For Transfer Battle, Liverpool and Everton Also Chasing Star Duo 1

Manchester united and Manchester City are set to battle for Bury youngsters Jacob Bedeau and Callum Styles, according to latest reports.

As well as both Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Everton are also said to be monitoring their progress.

ESPN claim that the Bury stars were scouted by the Merseyside giants during their recent clash with Sheffield United.

Both the Manchester clubs are keen to bolster their squads after a below-par first half of the season.

Manchester City won their first 10 games under Pep Guardiola but now sit seven points adrift of table toppers Chelsea, having played one game more.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are keen on the duo with Jose Mourinho ready to place his faith in youth.

The Sun report that both Premier League giants are desperate to snap the youngsters up.

Both Bury teenagers have established themselves as members of the first team in recent weeks. Manchester Giants Gearing Up For Transfer Battle, Liverpool and Everton Also Chasing Star Duo 2

Bedeau and Styles have broken into the first team in recent weeks and their emergence has alerted a number of the Premier League’s big guns.

Bedeau, a 17-year-old centre-back, has featured in Bury’s last six games, while midfielder Styles has started the last three games for the Shakers.

However, the League One club are unlikely to give either of the players up without a fight.

Bury were docked three points for failing to register Styles after he became the first player born in the 21st century to make a first-team appearance in the Football League.

Bury have a good record of producing exciting young talent in recent seasons with Liverpool signing youngster Emeka Obi at the back end of last year and Everton snapping up defender Matthew Foulds 12 months ago.

Bury rate Bedeau and Styles as two of the best young players to come through their ranks and are resigned to seeing them moving up the football ladder in the near future.
