United, Arsenal And Chelsea Stars Named In Spain Squad To Play Against England 1

Spanish manager Julen Lopetegui has a strong squad at his disposal as the 2010 World Champions are set to face Three Lions in the upcoming friendly post their world cup qualifier against Macedonia.

However, the core of the team has been packed with Premier League stars as a huge number of Spanish stars from Premier League has been selected from the top clubs in England.

Spain has remained unbeaten since the appointment of Julen Lopetegui and are favourites to qualify to the World Cup 2018 as group favourites after their poor showing in the 2014 World Cup which saw them exit in the group stages.

Manchester United trio David de Gea, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata have been selected as the trio have been the stars for the Red Devils since the start of the season.

However, Herrera is yet to make an appearance for the Spanish national team despite receiving his first national team call-up last month. Chelsea star duo Diego Costa has been included in the team after his high-profile performances for the Blues since the start of the season while his teammate Cesar Azpilicueta who has been solid as a centre back in Conte’s new system has also earned the call.

Arsenal has a sole representative as Nacho Monreal has been recalled with the left-back set to be fit by the end of this weekend. However, Chelsea stars Pedro and Cesc Fabregas are yet again ignored as the latter has hardly played any games for the Blues this season.

Manchester City also has two stars who were named in the squad as midfielders David Silva and Nolito has been named in the squad for the upcoming world cup qualifiers.

Spain face Macedonia in a World Cup Euro Qualifier on November 12 before playing a friendly against England on November 15.Here is the squad for the upcoming international games:
