Manchester United fans are not happy with the way the club is handling its new arrival Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenia international joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund in a £26 million deal this summer but has featured in only four Premier League games so far.
His last appearance came in Unite’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on September 10 in which he was substituted by Mourinho after a dismal show. After that, he injured his thigh which kept him out of the action for a long time. However, speculations of him returning to action increased after Jose Mourinho confirmed that the midfielder is fully fit before the Europa League clash against Fenerbahce but surprisingly the former Dortmund player, who scored 23 goals last season, failed to make the matchday squad for the games against Liverpool, Fenerbahce and Chelsea.
The midfielder arrived at Old Trafford with full of promise after bagging the Player of the Year award in Bundesliga. However, his exclusion from the team has left the fans puzzled. They finally lost their cool after Mkhitaryan failed to even make the bench for United’s EFL Cup tie against bitter City rivals Manchester City and took to Twitter to express their feelings:
