The manager openly said that the fomer Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes had shown a lack of professionalism.
Valdes was left out of the Red Devils’ pre season squad to America.
Valdes made matters worse by replying via Instagram and it’s been downhill ever since. Talk of a return to Spain immediately surfaced, with Valencia lining up a move for the keeper.
This week it was revealed that Valdes had suffered the indignation of being relegated to the u21 locker room at Carrington, but with the season due to start in 3 days Valdes remains at Old Trafford.
There has been no social media response this time, instead he has taken a dignified stance and chosen to thank the fans that have offered there support in this tough time.
The World Cup winner and two time Euro Cup winner tweeted:
Thank you all for your messages of support and encouragement. I appreciate it ! Gracias a todos por vuestros mensajes de apoyo y animo !

Valdes moved to Old Trafford last summer on a free transfer and was never expected to start for them in the presence of David De Gea who was in firing form and was awarded Manchester United Player of the Year for back to back two seasons.
He was only fielder for the under 21 side and this frustrated the Barcelona legend who has every single posible trophy to his resume while playing for the Catalan giants.
