If rumours are to be paid heed to, then we might see a certain Welshman come back to England after a champion stint with the Los Blancos.

Gareth Bale came to the Spanish capital after his exploits with the north London club, Tottenham Hotspur grabbed everyone’s attention and Real Madrid made the record transfer move that made Bale the most expensive player.

Bale started his career as a left back, but his gait and pace made Redknapp utilize him upfront and Bale thus began playing as winger and flourished in his new position. Bale’s style of play and his work rate has been admired immensely with the likes Martino who was awed by his goal in the Copa Del Rey final saying that “It is difficult to see a player sprint like that at that stage of the game.”

The consistent goal scoring abilities of the current Madrid forward has now attracted the Red Devils who are willing pay 109.4 million Euros for the Welshman if he comes on the market. Things at Old Trafford are getting sour as the players and the fans are exasperated with the tactics of a certain Dutchman who has potentially sucked the ‘fun out of football’. With United lacking a forward force and rumoured ego clashes in the Madrid camp, Bale tops the list of potential buys on the Manchester United shopping list this January.

But for all news that has been going around, Bale is potentially the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and no one would want to leave a club where they can potentially become kings. Bale hasn’t been his same Tottenham self at Real Madrid but has surely been instrumental for Madrid’s yearly campaigns.

But yet again, the Premier League offers a much more competitive arena and a chance to play at the Theatre of Dreams is cherished by all football players. With that amount of money being offered and a chance to be back closer to home might prove to be a deciding factor in the final decision taken by the Bale camp.
