Premier League heavyweights Manchester united, who are currently placed 6th in the league table are keen on signing Chelsea starlet Reece James from West London club Chelsea. According to reports United boss Jose Mourinho is keeping an close eye on James, who can play both midfield and defence. The 16 year old player has been with the blues since the age of 6 and has impressed ever since.
James has been highly impressive as he has already trained with the first team this season. The player made an appearance for the Chelsea under-23’s last week at Stamford Bridge and Manchester United has been interested in the player as a result of his brilliant performances. The youngster is also catching the attention of RB Leipzig who are currently placed at the top of the table with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga while United look to land the youngster in their youth set-up.
RB Leipzig roped in Nottingham Forest starlet Oliver Bruke in the summer which made the headlines. And they are well on the hunt for youngsters as they are keeping track of Reece James, the impressive blues youngster. The competition at Chelsea is getting tougher day by day and Reece could be provoked to move out of London if there is a good deal.
Meanwhile Manchester United would be looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season. They need some young and fresh legs in their squad to improve their performances. Reece James would be a perfect fit for them if they can successfully land the Chelsea midfielder. United next face Arsenal on 19th of November.
