According to some reports, Manchester United have joined the race to sign Real Madrid playmaker Toni Kroos. The 25-year old is looking to move away from Bernabeu next season after a difficult first season with Real madrid.
Liverpool wanted to sign the German international earlier this week amid surprise speculation that he wanted to quit Real Madrid after just one season but the Red Devils has joined the race to make an audacious bid for the playmaker.
The German international joined Real Madrid last season after winning 2014 World Cup and has been a key figure under sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti. The former manager gave Kroos assurances and convinced him to join Real Madrid last summer. But the player wants to move away from the Spanish giants as Real Madrid has one of the most disappointing seasons in their recent history having failed to win any trophy last season.
Kroos was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United two seasons ago when David Moyes wanted to bring the midfielder to Old Trafford but nothing materialised. The player then eventually moved to Real Madrid the following summer.
The player has drawn interest from both Liverpool and PSG before Manchester United joined the race. PSG are looking for Kroos to partner Verratti in midfield after their failure to sign Paul Pogba who is keen to remain with Juventus. Toni Kroos would be a great signing for Manchester United given his range of ppassing and control over the game. He is the best passer in Europe last season as he managed an unbelievable 92 percent pass completion.
