Manchester United predicted line-up against Manchester City

Manchester United and Manchester City are high on confidence after registering three wins in their opening three games and so their is absolutely no doubt that the much awaited derby clash will be fiercely fought. Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola’s availability in the dugout will provide another reason for the fans to watch this important game. Manchester United will have a chance to go clear favourite at the top by defeating the table-toppers Manchester City and so the Portuguese tactician will be fielding his best players. However, the Red Devils have some injury issues and he might make a few changes in the starting eleven.

Here is the predicted line-up:

Goalkeeper:

David de Gea:
The Spanish goalkeeper has been in brilliant form and can play a big role in deciding the outcome of the match.

Defense:

Antonio Valencia:
The Ecuador international was  a major doubt for the derby clash after returning late from the international duty. However, he has been given the green light to play in the important clash. Mourinho has used him as a right-back and so far he has been very impressive and is set to start.

Eric Bailly:
The centre-back has hit the ground running after signing for the Old Trafford outfit this year and is a certainty for the derby.

Daley Blind:
The Netherlands international’s future at Old Trafford was in doubt during the summer but so far he has impressed and has helped the team to keep clean sheet in two matches. Mourinho will surely play Blind along with Bailly as breaking a winning team combination is never a good idea.

Luke Shaw:
The left-back suffered a injury during the international duty but has now been cleared to play in the match.

Central Midfielders:
Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini:

Pogba has started impressively with the Red Devils and Fellaini has also hit the ground running under Mourinho. The Belgium international had a injury  scare during his international duty but he is now cleared to play the match. Mourinho will undoubtedly go with the winning combination.

Left Winger:
Anthony Martial:
The France international was initially looking rusty but his impressive outing for France will give the manager a lot of confidence.

Right-winger:
Juan Mata:
The Spaniard had a turbulent relationship with Mourinho during his Chelsea days and so there were fears that he would fall out of favour with the new manager. However, Mourinho has given him the chance and he has repaid the faith with brilliant performances.

Attacking midfielder:
Wayne Rooney:

The Manchester United skipper has been a new role by the newly-appointed boss and so far he has done fairly well in his new role.

Striker:
Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
Ibrahimovic has started his stint with United on a superb note. He has already scored three goals in the league so far and with City defense looking a  weak link he will surely look to exploit it.
