Manchester United ready to offer 100 million for Gareth Bale, only if he is ready to move – Telegraph

Manchester United will hand Louis Van Gaal a £100 million transfer budget to lure Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer, only constraint being if the player is ready for a move. Man United will push for Bale’s transfer anytime during the Summer Transfer Window, provided Bale is ready to quit Bernabeau.

Manchester United will have no problem in coming up with the huge transfer fee as the club are set to have a substantial and immediate £100 million rise to their funds from last season. Manchester United after the inevitable return to Champions League will yield the club £50 million upfront.

Man United’s new kit deal with Adidas is worth £75 million a year. As compared to Nike’s £28 million a year, Adidas will inject a further £47 million’s rise to United’s early season cash inflow. These figures tell us the club’s capability of signing Gareth Bale without breaking a sweat.

Manchester United have been pursuing Gareth Bale since 2007 when he was at Southampton. United tried to convince Gareth Bale to come to Old Trafford but instead Bale chose Tottenham and went on to become one of the best players in Premier League in recent years.

Manchester United went back for Bale with a £100 million offer when he was nearing a switch to Real Madrid. Yet again, United were rejected by Bale as he began his Spanish adventure. Two seasons at Bernabeau and Bale is finding it tough to deal with Real Madrid fans’ expectations and the Welshman is getting caught in a constant Madrid-Cardiff travel to keep his professional and personal life on track.

There is a wide belief within Manchester United and Premier League in general that Bale would indeed come back to Premier League in near future to pursue his football. The key question here is when, rather than if and Man United are ready to welcome Bale with open arms as they have set aside a £100 million transfer budget for the Welshman.

The only thing that stands between Gareth Bale joining Manchester United is Gareth Bale himself. The day he says yes to a move to Old Trafford, Louis Van Gaal will be handed a huge £100 million kitty to sign the Welshman.
