Matteo Darmian all set to quit United:
The former Torino defender has grown frustrated with the lack of first-team action under Jose Mourinho. Darmian, who appeared in 39 matches last term, has fallen completely out of favour with the United boss and is reportedly looking to leave the club in the ongoing transfer window.
He has been linked with Italian giants Inter Milan for quite some time now and The Sun has reported that the defender is house hunting in Milan.
As quoted in the outlet, a source said: “Matteo is looking for a place in Milan. He has contacted an estate agent in the city.
“He is looking for a spacious apartment in a very nice area. His girlfriend will pick the house.
“It cannot be a coincidence that he is looking for a new house. Inter Milan have been after him for a while. He is from a small town near Milan. The couple are passionate about interior design and have fixed-up places in the past.”
The report further states that Inter and Manchester United are close to agreeing on a deal for the defender to return to Serie A.
