Borussia Dortmund reveals a price for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang:
The Gabon international was linked with the Red Devils during the summer but eventually settled for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. However, the Red Devils can reignite their interest in the Borussia Dortmund striker as Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has said that a bid of £68.5million can convince the German giants to let go their star player.
He told Kicker TV: “We can never guarantee that a player will stay with Borussia Dortmund forever, but our strength is to always find new solutions.
“Auba was our alternative to ‘the world ending’ after Lewandowski’s departure. With a €80m [£68.5m] offer, I would be thinking about [club president] Reinhard Rauball and [sporting director] Michael Zorc – if we had one, we would have to get together with Pierre-Emerick [to discuss it].”
