Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer feels Manchester United should turn to outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger if they want to come out of the sudden dip of form in the recent weeks.
“It’s hard to assess the situation from Munich,” Neuer told a news conference in Munich. “It’s naturally also difficult when you are training on your own and not with the team.
“You almost have to really feel sorry for him the way he’s been treated at the start. I really hope that Basti will be picked. We all know that he’s undeniably one of the best midfielders in the world.
“Therefore, he should be playing on the pitch for a side like Manchester United, not on an amateur pitch nor training on his own.”
