United accept £22m bid for Morgan Schneiderlin:

Everton target Morgan Schneiderlin has struggled to become a Man Utd regular since switching from Southampton

The Red Devils have reportedly accepted  a £22m bid from Everton for Morgan Schneiderlin.

English news outlet The Sun has reported that initial fee could eventually rise to £24m during his time at the Goodison Park as he is all ready to complete the switch within the next 48 hours.

The Toffees’ initial bid of £19m was rejected last week as United were not willing to sell the former Southampton star on a cut-price deal. But the Merseyside outfit returned with an improved bid after some poor results in the recent games including the disappointing FA Cup exit last week.

Speaking after United’s EFL Cup win, Mourinho had said:“I have no details but before the match, I was informed by Mr Woodward that the situation is close so Morgan is more than probably going to Everton.

“I’m sad and I’m happy. I’m sad because I like him and he could be an option for us in a long season. I’m happy because this is what he wants”
