Just when Manchester United looked like coming out of the deadline day without signing anyone, Louis Van Gaal had a surprise in store for the fans as he secured a season long loan for young Bolton Wanderers defender.

Right from the beginning of Januaray, Van Gaal was repeatedly quoted as saying that United will do business only if their long term targets becomes available and will not be involving in any panic buys.

With reported United targets such as Hummels and Strootman not ready to move in this window, many believed United will not add anyone to the free capture of Victor Valdes, after he was released by Barcelona last summer.

But, to everyone’s surprise United managed to finalise a loan deal for the young left-back very late in the window. Infact, the deal was revealed by the club nearly an hour after the winter transfer deadline day officially closed.

Kellet, 21, is a product of Bolton’s academy. He was playing for Plymouth on loan for the first half of this season but started for Bolton in their League Cup match at Rotherham last week.

On the other hand, Saidy Janko moves from Manchester United to Botlton for a season long loan. The 19-year-old right back joined United from Zurich in 2013. He made his first and only appearance in the clubs infamous 4-0 defeat at MK Dons in the league cup in August.

Deadline day also saw Darren Fletcher finally move out of the club. The Scottish midfielder after rejecting to chance join West Ham United, moved to West Bromwich Albion on a two and a half year deal.

Also Wilfred Zaha made his loan move into a permanent one at Crystal Palace. Besides, Michael Keane completed a 3 million move to Burnley.
