Brazilian young sensation Gabriel Jesus is in “very advanced talks” with Manchester City confirmed the player’s agent Cristiano Soames.
The 19-year old has been a sensation in the Brazilian league and has drawn the interest from a host of elite clubs across Europe which includes Inter Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United besides Manchester City.
However, recent reports suggested that Pep Guardiola is keen to sign the young Brazilian as has already spoken to the Spanish manager with the permission Palmeiras board.
Cristiano Soames said: “I can say that we are defining certain contractual aspects. We’re negotiating these.”
On whether Inter could beat City to his signature, the agent added: “We are very advanced with Manchester City. We’ll see.”
The 19-year who will represent Brazil in Olympics next month will cost around €32 million as he is phenomenal form.
Jesus has also won Brazil best newcomer award for his extraordinary spell with Palmeiras as he is currently the leading goal scorer in the league. However, the player will remain at Palmeiras on loan until December as the Brazilian championship ends then Jesus
