With the January transfer window approaching, circulation of rumours speculating various names with the big clubs are a common sign these days. After United spent 150 million in the summer, it is no surprise that plenty of names are being linked with the Red Devils once again. Let us look at the latest transfer gossips surrounding the Reds:

Vidic will ‘Not’ return to Old Trafford

Vidic will not return to Old Trafford in January

Many questioned Vidic’s decision to leave United (who failed to finish in the top four) on the free to join Inter Milan (who are also not in the Champions League) in the summer. Vidic moved to Italy hoping that the Milan club will rise upwards. To his dismay Inter have been poor this season which resulted in the sacking of the manager Walter Mazzarri.

Further, the new manager Roberto Mancini is not fancying Vidic a place in the starting place since his arrival. Hence, romours linked him with a move back to United.

However Dailymail claim that it won’t happen because Van Gaal wants to move forward by signing players who can stay in the club for many years to come at the top level rather than signing the player at 33 years who looks to have past his best.

Godin has also denied links with United

The 28-year-old Uruguan was constantly linked with United for a January move, however the player himself has come out and rubbished the speculation by suggesting that he wants to stay with the Spanish champion.

According to Express, Godin said: “Time will tell, it is difficult to know where I will be playing in the future but I would like to stay many years with Atletico.”

Despite knowing that Godin’s reported release clause (28.5m) is lesser then the likes of Hummels, Van Gaal may not get his man if the player is not interested to leave the club.

Hernandez will neither ‘Return’ to Old Trafford in January

With Falcao struggling to get fit and Wilson struggling to find the back of the net regularly, few rumours suggested that the little Mexican may return to Old Trafford in January as a deputy to Van Persie and Rooney.

After struggling to get game time in Real Madrid, the possibility of it happening looked likely, however his agent says that the Manchester United striker will not cut his loan move to Real Madrid short in January. Eduardo Hernandez told futbol.as.com: “Sometimes the media speculate too much and assume situations. He will not leave the club [in January].”
