Manchester United were lucky to enter the final of the League Cup after they lost the second leg of the semi-final away from home against Hull City.
They are not in a great position in the league, standing in the 6th place in the points table after 22 games, and the manager has been looking to improve the squad and strengthen it before the deadline day.
