French side Nice have revealed their loan bid for out of favour Manchester United forward Memphis Depay was rejected. The Netherlands international is heavily tipped with a move away from Old Trafford after struggling to break into the playing eleven but the English giants want to sell the winger on a permanent deal.
Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere said: “We looked at him, like a lot of clubs have, but it is extremely complicated.
“It is a situation which is out of our financial reach. You have a club that bought him for a certain amount, that wants to sell him.”
