Erik ten Hag faces a stern test in his next game as Manchester United welcome the Premier League runners-up from last season Liverpool in their next game at the Old Trafford. United will b hoping to avoid a hat-trick of losses and win their first points of the season. They currently sit rock-bottom, at 20th place in the table right now.
However, after two consecutive defeats it will certainly be a herculean task to bag all three points against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The biggest miss will be their record signing, Darwin Nunez who picked up a red card against Crystal Palace in the last game.
United will also have extra motivation to face the Reds since they have recently agreed a deal to sign Real Madrid’s Casemiro. Although he won’t be featuring in this game given his Visa requirements and medical tests are pending, the Brazilian is expected to be in the stands to watch his new teammates in action.
