Massimiliano Allegri Responds Over Replacing Arsene Wenger At Emirates 1

Massimiliano Allegri has fueled the speculation over replacing Arsene Wenger at Arsenal after admitting that he will not “deny or confirm anything” when asked about the possibility of taking the reins at the Emirates.

Just like the last few seasons, the Gunners are looking destined to waste another promising start to the season after suffering two consecutive defeats in the Premier League that has put them 12 points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

As expected, Arsene Wenger’s position at the Emirates has come under scrutiny for another faltering title bid. The 67-year old is in last year of his contract with the Gunners and speculations are rife that he will step down from the post of Arsenal manager in summer after serving the club for two decades.

The French tactician has led the North London outfit to three Premier League titles and six FA Cup final victories during his tenure. However, the lack of silverwares is mounting pressure on him as his team is in search of its first title success in 13 years.

Reports suggest that the Gunners are in advanced talks with Allegri to take over from their long-serving manager and Allegri’s latest comments are all set to excite them.
