Los Blancos may soon be hit by a blow as news has it that the club could see one of its star players heading out of Madrid. The players indicated here are Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo. Both top players have been constantly targeted by big clubs and are considering making an exit from Santiago Bernabeu. Losing any of the two is going to be a massive loss for the Spanish giants as it will be nearly impossible to find replacements for them.
Talking first about Gareth Bale, the former Spurs star is not enjoying his time at the club. It is believed that Gareth does not share friendly relationships with the team or staff at the club and doesn’t seem socially involved with them. The next reason for the Wales international to consider a move is his poor form. The Cardiff born winger has faced difficulties adapting to the city and the team. Among the clubs eyeing Bale, Manchester United seem to be upfront with sealing the deal. The Red Devils who’ve always been behind Cristiano, have now shifted their focus to Bale as the deal seems more likely to happen. In return, the English club has received good response which indicates that the transfer is possible. Since Bale hasn’t been much of a star at Spain, a move back to England is likely and this time one can reckon seeing him in United colours.
Now looking at Ronaldo’s situation, the former Manchester United talent has been linked with a move back to Old Trafford, yet again. The rumours of Ronnie coming back to the United squad practically never end and also never succeed. The deal hence is next to impossible. But, this time, wealthy club PSG is in the race to sign the 30-year-old striker. A move to PSG seems more realistic because Ronaldo has now hit the age of 30 and Manchester United don’t really need him. Also, Ronnie’s price tag is surely going to be a huge amount and only PSG can afford the sum. Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s agent hinted that the Portugal international wishes to end his career at Madrid. But Ronaldo expressed dissatisfaction claiming that the club will never win anything under the reign of Perez.
Well, Bale’s move to United seems likely in the current situation ahead of Ronaldo’s. The rumours are coming up each day and no one can confirm if any of the two deals are bound to happen. There’s still time before we enter January, so you never know a bid could be put up by the clubs or even a step back could be taken. This is football and in football, nothing can be predicted until the very end.
