According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport Italian giants could revive their interest in Arsenal’s on-loan Jack Wilshere next Summer.
The 24-year-old was linked with a potential move to both Roma and AC Milan but a deal did not end up materialising as Wilshere opted to reject offers from abroad.
Wilshere decided to continue plying his trade in the Premier League – moving to Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
The report claims that Wilshere’s comments in The Sun regarding his future have convinced Milan bosses to possibly take another shot at persuading Wilshere to make the move.
But the Arsenal academy-graduate who will only have a year remaining on his current deal when he returns from his loan spell has considered leaving the Gunners.
“Of course I love Arsenal but, if there comes a time when I have to leave, then I have to leave,” he told the Sun.
“It is difficult for me to say because of course I love Arsenal — I’ve had great times there and they have been great for me.
“And I can still see myself playing there as well but who knows what the future holds.
“I have got a year left when I go back there.
He added: “At the moment I’m just trying to have a season that puts me in a good position at the end of the year.
“I have improved as a player and Arsenal want me back and then we will see where we go from there.”
The London-born ace has seemingly overcome his persistent injury troubles and has become a permanent fixture in Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth starting eleven.
But the 24-year-old, who will have a year remaining on his contract when he returns to the Emirates, believes a time may come when he may need to leave north London.
However, Wilshere, who has played over 100 Premier League games for Arsenal but spent almost the entirety of last season out with injury, insists he has no issues with manager Wenger.
And the midfielder says he would be delighted if the Gunners won the title in his absence.
