Manchester United have started their pre season with a 1-0 win against Mexican club Club America at International Champios Cup at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field.

Manchester United started with a strong XI of Johnstone, Darmian, Jones, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Mata, Young, Memphis Depay and Rooney. 3 of the new arrivals at Old Trafford started in the form of Darmian, Schneiderlin and Depay while Schweinsteiger was in the bench. New French star Morgan Schneiderlin had a debut to remember as he scored for the Red Devils in the fifth minute.

 

He gave his side the winning goal with a header from a Juan Mata cross.

The Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal started the second half with a complete new line up with Lindegaard, McNair, Smalling, Evans, Blackett, Lingard, Schweinsteiger, Ander Herrera, Andres Perreira, Adnan Januzaj and James Wilson.

Manchester United fans will be happy to see their new boys in action and Schneiderlin scoring the winning goal. Manchester United will play their next friendly against San Jose Earthquakes on 22th July and then Barcelona on 26th and PSG on 30th.
