‘The Special One’ seems to be a favorite among English media especially after his recent spell of awful results. Losing to Liverpool at home added fuel to the fire. Mourinho was rumored to be sacked if the Blues lose to Liverpool and well that actually happened even though a draw was more expected by the football world.
Another miserable result of 1-3 at the Stamford Bridge meant Chelsea is now 15th on the Premier League standings. Nothing seems to be going right for the players and the manager. Jose is struggling with his spell at the club and the players are losing their up-to-the-mark performance skills. Chelsea lost for the sixth time in 11 PL fixtures.
The 52-year-old Portugal man was again seen arguing about the injustice actions done against his side mainly indicating the second yellow card which wasn’t shown to Liverpool’s Lucas. Well, Mourinho has started coming up with excuses after each game and this didn’t surprise us, either.
According to Sky sources, Jose’s managerial job isn’t under threat and the gaffer is as always planning for the next fixture. In his press conference, when asked if he thinks this would be his last game as Chelsea’s manager, he replied, ‘’No, I don’t.’’ The media immediately questioned him if he would be given more time to improve the team’s form and result. Jose replied saying, ‘’Yes, I think so.’’
By those words, it seems as to Mourinho is confident of not being sacked however the fans seem to be not dearly liking him anymore. Will it be #MourinhoIn or #MourinhoOut? Only time can tell..
