Must Watch: Lionel Messi’s Amazing Skills Without Touching The Ball

Lionel Messi is one of the greatest footballers ever.

The Argentine superstar has won five Ballon d’Ors and countless trophies at Barcelona and has been a joy to watch for more than a decade.

His touch, his dribbling ability and his speed are just three attributes that make it almost impossible to tackle him. But a video has emerged of another skill Messi possesses that enables him to beat an opponent.Image result for messi 2017

YouTube user MagicalMessi has created a video that shows Messi’s top 15 skills without him even touching the ball.

What?

The clip shows Messi in different scenarios gaining an advantage without even having a touch, as he fools defenders in the meantime.

Whether he’s standing in an offside position and purposely leaves the ball for his teammate, or a simple body feint manages to beat his opponents, Messi is the master of producing skill without ever touching the ball.

Take a look:

We all know that Messi has amazing ability with his feet but the above video shows he has also an incredible understanding of what is around him and is always one step ahead of everyone else.

Despite turning 30 in the summer, Messi is showing no signs of slowing down.

The forward has already scored 41 goals in all competitions for Barcelona this season – the tally he managed during the entirety of last campaign – as he looks to lead the club to another historic treble.

However, Messi will have to be at his very best to be able to do that.Image result for messi 2017

Barcelona trail Real Madrid by two points in La Liga having played a game more and face Juventus in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Their best chance of a trophy comes in the form of the Copa del Rey, where they face Alaves in the final at the end of the season.

Any defenders that are facing Messi between now and the end of the season will do well to watch the above video and learn one thing: Don’t watch his feet, watch the ball.
